36. Explain the relationship between size constancy and the Muller-Lyer illusion.
Size Constancy: perceiving an object as being the same size regardless of whether it is close or far away.
Examples. City skylines in a distance. When you see them far away they are tiny, but you still know it is a very tall building.
Muller-Lyer Illusion: is when two images appear to be different lengths, but really they are the same lengths, just different objects around them to make the illusion look different.
