26. Summarize the difference between a non-directive and directive therapy and explain why Rogers' approach is non-directive.
The difference between a non-directive therapy session and a directed therapy session is somewhat obvious, non-directive therapy is when the client chooses what they talk about and it's more laid back than a directed session. A directed therapy session is when the therapist ask's the patient what's going on and the therapist chooses what the talk about. Roger's approach is non-directive because he focused more on how the client felt and believed that calling the patient a client was important because patient implied sickness or problem.
